WEIRDEST THING THAT HAS HAPPENED IN MY HOUSE THIS MONTH/YEAR. READ PEOPLE.

Okay, here's the full story.
I was sitting in the computer room, when I hear this noise. It sounded as though a metal water balloon had EXPLODED. (That's the only way I can describe it.) And it vibrated.
So I sit there for a minute while all these thoughts go through my head. "Did mom just drop a huge pitcher of something in the kitchen?" "Should I go check it out?" "Is anybody hurt?"
So as I leave the computer room, I spot Jonathan (My little brother) in the living room and he asks "Was that a sneeze?" (Which I find very funny.)
I told him no, and then I went into the kitchen. No one was there, and it was very surreal. The noise sounded close, but no where on the first floor was there any water or cracked glass. Then I wondered if the sky-light in the kitchen had caved in, because I knew I heard water. It hadn't, and I stood there and pondered. I was joined by Jonathan, then it hit me, "Ah yes, mom is taking some furniture stuff apart downstairs, maybe that's what the noise was!" So we go downstairs and I find mom, expecting to hear an explanation. She shows no sign of knowing what happened, and I'm confused. (This was the most surreal thing ever, or so I thought.) I think "Surely she had to have heard that noise. "If the noise was only upstairs how come nothing was broken up there?"
Then I look over at a desk with a phone on it, and something is DRIPPING from the ceiling. I point it out, and we all look very confused. "That isn't good." Says mom, and I wonder if a pipe exploded. In fact, I was sure of it, until mom noticed the smell. THE CEILING WAS LEAKING ALCOHOL. I was so so so so confused. (THAT was the most surreal thing ever.) Then I realized how silly this was and asked "Is our ceiling drunk?"
We go upstairs and look in the dining room cabinet where the alcohol is stored. We then find out that a cork popped off a bottle, and it leaked through the floor. We all laughed a bit after that.

I just thought this needed to be shared with the world.
